22nd August 2003. Another long period between updates.
It's been a long time since I started this website
all those years ago. It seems that from looking
around the web many of you preferred the old version
of the site. In the transition to this version I
did suffer some computer problems and so some of
the stuff that was on the original site I have now
lost. However I still have good new stuff I haven't
put up yet, such as some not often seen pictures
of John Liu. Yes I do actually have them, honest!
Just to whet your appetite...
Sorry about the hideous layout! Anyhow, there's
more where they came from along with a biography
that even I am not sure what to make of.
Finally, anyone seen Drunken Monkey? A little *too*
old school perhaps to make any money in this day
and age, but damn Lau Kar-leung can still move like
he did 20 years ago! I also have information on
the real Ten Tigers of Kwantung. If anybody would
be interested in this information being placed on
this website please let me know. I would like the
site to move towards a more mature appreciation
of the martial arts within films. It was almost
9 years ago when this site first started. Things
move on! Assuming I actually get any time that is!
